The UCSB Bookstore General Book Department stocks thousands of titles, covering a wide range of topics & interests for students, staff, faculty & visitors.We publish an annual Faculty Authors pamphlet to highlight an outstanding faculty committed to teaching, research and public service. Complimentary copies are available at the General Book Department information desk. The General Book Department specializes in new books at sale prices! Most sale books are at least 50-60% below the publisher's retail price and new books arrive weekly!
We also host huge "Book Sales" in the University Center Lobby at least once per school quarter. Check with the our staff to find out when the next one is scheduled, you won't want to miss it!
